What it is
With age, the skin and the layer of tissue under it loosen, and the jawline becomes less defined. A mini facelift lifts this layer and removes a small amount of skin. It is meant for early to moderate changes, mostly in the lower face.
How it is done
The incision runs in front of and around the ear, where the scar is hidden in natural folds. The deeper tissue is lifted and fixed, extra skin is trimmed and the incision is closed with fine stitches.
